A graduate of Clemson University, Ripley holds a degree in History and French with a minor in English. She has held various public relations positions including most recently working for Solid Green, Clemson's recycling campaign. Ripley has also worked for the S.C Department of Commerce, and held international internships in Paris and Munich. Ripley also served as TimeOut editor of The Tiger , Clemson's student newspaper and has contributed to The Greenville News as a features writer.
