Chestnut Ridge, NY (April 17, 2013) – MC2 Europe's client Scisys Deutschland GmbH has won an ACE Award for "Best Small Island Booth" from the National Association of Broadcasters' 2013 NAB Show, which was held in Las Vegas, NV from April 6-11, 2013.
The
ACE Awards recognize NAB Show exhibitors for their innovations in booth design and execution. The winners are chosen based on creativity, effectiveness, quality, and use of materials. The judges were representatives from Freeman Exhibit Services, NAB and the NAB Show Exhibitor Advisory Committee at the 90-year old annual communications event.
Not the typical blue and white IT booth, the red and gray SCISYS booth with its 15-foot plexiglass walls and stainless steel structure stood out from the crowd. A mix of a Swiss
SYMA rental system and custom construction, the 20x20-foot booth deftly housed five individual meeting and demo areas. The custom-made workstations and matt finish bar with under counter LEDs were constructed with Corian and stainless steel materials. Booth had deep red hardwood floor that gave it a unique and exclusive look. A translucent white ceiling towered over the space giving the booth the appearance of a much larger exhibit. The exhibit was designed and produced by MC2 Europe and installed by MC2's southwest division located in Las Vegas.
"We are delighted that our exhibit at 2013 NAB Show was recognized with an ACE Award. We thank our exhibit designer MC2 Europe for their creativity and quality workmanship," said Harald Groeger, business communications and sales manager for SCISYS Deutschland GmbH. "We have worked with MC2 for several years and they have always been a great, innovative and reliable partner."
