April 16, 2013 (Chestnut Ridge, NY) – Three MC2 staffers who specialize in permanent environments will present a panel discussion "EBCs in Many Languages: Building Briefing Centers Across the Globe," at the spring meeting of the Association of Briefing Program Managers (ABPM) in Chicago this week.
The 2013 Spring Conference, one of five annual conferences organized by ABPM each year, will be held at the Intercontinental Chicago Magnificent Mile in downtown Chicago. The MC2 panel will be held Thursday, April 18 at 10:20am.
A two-decade long industry-wide study of more than 10,000 respondents showed that executive briefings "foster customer satisfaction and loyalty, strengthen business relationships, influence the decision to purchase, increase the amount purchased, and shorten the sales cycle." As the effectiveness of briefing programs has grown, so has the need to expand beyond national borders. With expansion comes the challenge of maintaining brand integrity and crafting brand message in diverse cultures.
The MC2 session focuses on such challenges which affect design, permits, construction, outfitting and contractor relations for EBCs located in multiple countries. Panel members will discuss the complexity of adapting existing EBC designs to other locations and offer insights on successfully building briefing centers in other countries. The panel brings extensive experience in this area having built more than 24 briefing centers in 13 countries around the world.
